We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of solar panel installation, electrical work, and system maintenance in a fast-growing industry. You will work closely with experienced electricians and installers, gaining hands-on experience and skills essential for a successful career in renewable energy.

As an apprentice electrician you will

• Assist in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties across Australia.
• Support the electrical wiring and connections of solar systems, ensuring compliance with Australian safety and building standards.
• Participate in site assessments, equipment setup, and installation tasks.
• Help troubleshoot and maintain existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Learn to read and interpret technical documents, plans, and blueprints.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and efficient working condition.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.

You will be successful in the role if you:

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship
• Completed Year 10 or equivalent; a background in electrical systems or relevant technical training is advantageous.
• A strong interest in renewable energy and a desire to learn.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions typical to Australia.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• A valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
• Capable of performing physical tasks for extended periods.
